The Safe House
Grace Gardens started as an outreach ministry to brothels in Jos. We quickly realized that most of the girls were living in the brothels and some even with their children. We saw a need for a safe house where women could have a safe place to grow and learn about Christ. We now run this home like a large family. Everyone lives life together while going to school, engaging in discipleship, learning a trade, and enjoying the blessing of food, warmth, and safety. We care for their medical needs, spiritual needs and we strive to educate all of our residents. We are approved as a legal orphanage since most of our residents we have rescued are children.
The School
We realized there was a need for high quality, faith-based education for the children in Grace Gardens and surrounding area—so in 2019 we founded Grace and Hope American Academy. We currently teach Pre-K to 8th grade. We also offer extra curriculars like dance classes, taekwondo, and night classes for adults
The Persecuted
Grace Gardens has expanded our work to include the victims of Christian persecution in Nigeria. Many areas are being attacked for their faith in Christ. We felt compelled to expand our work because of the growing needs around us. We often also see that this violence has created many more vulnerable women and children who are susceptible sexual violence.
The Brothels
Missy started visiting brothels her first year in Nigeria. Ministering and helping the women in brothels has been part of our mission for years and we’ve continued to do it ever since.
The Business
John owns and operates Camiola Global Resources, a multi-faceted company that employees many local Nigerians with dependable, well-paying jobs. We believe business is a God ordained method for investing in the local community.

The Cafe
John and Missy opened Tin City Cafe in 2016. The cafe provides jobs to many women from Grace Gardens, and has become a popular spot among the locals.
